Your Emotions Are What Makes You Stronger

When we feel a tad bit down over certain life occurrences, we tend to judge ourselves harshly as being so soft and affected.

When we display anger or disgust over our reactions to the downsides of life, we often blame and label ourselves too harshly.

When we cry over the littlest thing that upsets us, we hate ourselves for that afterward.

When we express our love in the deepest way possible to the next person, we often hate that we can’t hide how we feel about them.

When we are happy and show that we are by doing things we’d normally do when in that mood, we term ourselves stupid for having done so.

And the list goes on.

The real question is what did emotions ever do so wrongly to us that we either run away from expressing it or hate that we did in the first place?

The only thing I’ve noticed emotion has done to us is signify us — that something is either wrong or right.

All emotion has ever done is to tell us what mood we are in at that moment.

All emotion has ever done is to help us prepare for what’s next to come.

Emotions don’t ever hurt, degrade, judge or select whoever it comes to.

Emotions help remind us that we’re humans who are meant to feel.

The only downside to emotion is not using it right, that is, not managing it well to serve its purpose.

Like many talented authors and philosophers have reiterated; we can’t control our emotions but we can control how we use them. This is a typical example of one admitting that as humans, feeling things is one of the most innate attributes we possess.

Therefore quit upsetting, renouncing and denouncing your precious self all in the bid to atone for feeling a certain emotion or emotions because chances are, your emotions are truly what makes you unique, thrive better and stronger.

Use emotions to your advantage from today by taming the bad ones and amplifying the good ones while ascertaining their purpose(emotional intelligence)— as opposed to preventing it from occurring and watch how you grow tremendously — inside out.
