As written in Corinthians 13 v 4–8
Love is patient
Love is not jealous or boastful
It is not arrogant or rude
Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things.
Love never ends; as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
My own little addition, Love is action, not a word.
When you introspectively digest these signs and realize how uncomfortable you’ve been in your meaningful relationships, it’s love-proof.
Likewise, when you carefully evaluate yourself only to realize that what you exhibit and term as love don’t fall into many of the categories listed above, well, it’s time to check again.
