One Mantra that Changes Everything

Every day won’t be the same

Anxiety appears in the form of restlessness. This restlessness is due to how unstable our brains perceive things to be. Our days can’t always be the same; some days will come with a storm, whereas others rain and some others calm. Knowing this prepares us for what’s coming, no matter what it is. The unpredictability that causes our minds to drift in fear and create anxious modes will be managed if we accept it as it comes rather than fight it.

What are some of these ways to manage it?

By doing things we love most. Things that will distract our minds in a positive light. For example, reading, playing a game, hiking, chatting with family members, praise and worship, you name it. This creates a slight mental shift from the daily “struggles” and allows you to smile a little, even though your mind toggles.

By trying our best to still keep going. Keeping on when the odds are against us makes us feel relieved and utilizes our energies positively. This, in turn, makes us glad and proud that we could achieve something no matter how or despite how little.

Other times, we need to keep calm and be still. When we experience dark days, moving our body might only exacerbate the difficulty. Therefore, in this situation, it’s best to stay still and listen to what that experience is trying to teach us and assimilate without judging our stillness or what we are engulfed in.

When we learn to accept that no day can be the same, our everyday changes no matter how much we dislike them, we will be free. We would then learn how to accept things we cannot control and dispense our energies rightfully to the things that we have control over. In totality, we become well-rounded humans who understand the way of life and how to live life to the fullest devoid of its ebbs.5

Thanks for taking the time to read.
