To be honest, I preach about vulnerability and embracing it but the last few weeks have been the most difficult with sticking to my authentic self while letting what I write about change me.
I guess that’s what you meant by “write for yourself”.

It’s been painful to let go and at the same time acknowledge certain things that no longer serve me that used to make me comfortable about my writing. Such as the people I expected to keep reading and patronizing me that aren’t just because I stopped chasing.

I’m proud of myself, however, it’s exhaustingly hard.
